Ah, no matter how bad things get - and last night was so very, very bad - seeing that picture just makes everything all right with the world again. I might just spend the entire game gazing lovingly at it. Could well be the best option, though it's hard to imagine how things could be as bad as last night - Clefo, to whom I just gave tickets, will certainly be hoping so. Anyway, here's tonight's Diamondbacks', what I like to call, "line-up"

The Dodgers have seriously put out their C-lineup today - not even an Ethier to be seen - but given how they've done against us the past couple of days, it probably doesn't make too much difference. Still, even though the team has already lost its sixth consecutive home series, I'd rather we avoided the sweep. But let's just say, hopes are remaining in check. To borrow a line from MAD TV: "Lowered Expectations, when you’ve been blown off by the NL West, settle for what you can get..."
