This Date In Diamondbacks History: April 15

Overall: 5-8 - Home: 2-6 - Road: 3-2

Not a lot to report today, with no D-backs, present or past, born on this day, and the team hasn't been involved in any transaction on April 15 either. Must have been too busy preparing their tax returns or something.

  • 2000: Kelly Stinnett hit 2 home runs, including a 3-run shot in the fourth, and went 3-for-4 with four RBI in a 7-4 win over the Giants at AT&T Pacific Bell Park. Todd Stottlemyre got the win, with five innings of three-run ball, and the loser for the Giants was Russ Ortiz. Oh, the Huge Manatee!
  • 2007: Doug Davis picked up his first win as a D-back in a 6-4 victory vs. Rockies. Tony Clark was the two homer dude on this day for Arizona, driving in three runs. Both came off the Colorado starter and loser on the day, none other than Byung-Hyun Kim.
  • 2011. This time last year, Daniel Hudson was losing 5-2 to the San Francisco Giants and Matt Cain, with Brian Wilson picking up the save. Looks likely this won't be happening in 2012, at least not in its entirety...
