I'm a good deal less nervously anticipating tonight's game. I think maybe it's because of the winning streak: when you reach nine consecutive victories, it takes on a life of its own, and you forget that almost all teams will lose 60 or more games in a season. You think, subconsciously, you'll never lose again, and as both fans and players, you stop doing the things that got you there. Witness last night, where the doom merchants and F-bombs were out in force when we were only one or two behind in the early states, and the team seemed to be playing tightly-wound. Now, the streak is out of the way, and normal service can be resumed.
