Odd kinda start time in San Diego, which caught me a bit unaware, so this one will be brief. Diamondbacks will want to put a stop to their losing streak before it really starts, and get their push for the pennant going back in the right direction again. Meanwhile, the Rockies and Giants are in a delay at Coors [something something retractable roof something] and Milwaukee are tied with Cincinnati in the other game that matters to Arizona.

Looks like a winning line-up to me, though I was surprised to discover we have a better record with Willie Bloomquist starting on top of the order (43-27) than without him there (44-37). Doesn't feel like it, but perhaps that's just the last two games equaling two losses. Be nice to reduce the magic number to a level where you can use one hand to count it.; getting Collmenter through the first without allowing a run would be a nice break in the recent trend by Diamondbacks' starters...
