Snake sealed their playoff slot and, short of a meltdown, will likely be the #3 seed. At the plate, Swisher had five home-runs and eight RBI, and Reynolds also went deep three times. Cordero got a vulture Win as well as three Saves; for Sofa, Dempster struck out 11.
Alabama Slammers 6, Bad Wolf 3
Slammers will get a bye in the first round of the post-season, and coasted to victory. Hardy scored seven Runs with two HR, while on the mound for them, Perez got a W and two Sv and Shields a W + 10 K. Wolf will need a strong last week to qualify; Weaver had a W + 10 K for them.
Blonde Streaks 3, Mizzoula Osprey 7
Mizzoula outslugged Blonde, the teams combining for 25 HR - Kendrick (Blonde) and Longoria (Mizzoula) each hit four. Verlander got two Wins and fanned 14 for Streaks, but got no pitching support, or they might have taken Osprey, for whom Niemann had a W + 11 K.
Lady Gaga Regatta 5, Ignatius J. Rallies 4
Lady pulled out of the relegation zone with their third win in four weeks. HR ended tied, so they have Avila (three HR, six RBI) to thank; in pitching, Price notched a W and 20 strikeouts. Hitter of the Week Gonzalez had five HR and nine RBI for the Rallies, and Gallardo a scoreless W and 10 K.
The Fighting Amish 3, Whooping Zoidbergs 6
Whooping beat fourth-placed Amish, but are still condemned to drop into Division 1-A. Pitcher of the Week Kennedy got two Wins and 15 K for the Zoidbergs; Amish countered with a W + 11 K from Grienke. At the plate, Ortiz had three home-runs and drove in seven for Whooping.
warlords 2, Los Wailoracles 8
A match with no real implications saw Los sweep pitching. Chacin won twice with eight strikeouts, Cueto fanned 14 and Axford picked up three Saves. They also got three HR from Tulowitzki; war had mult-homer weeks from Cruz and Werth, while Crawford had seven RBI.
Lil Bitches 4, Phoenix Platypi 4
Perhaps the best result for both teams, as they will both likely make the playoffs. HR and W ended tied. Phoenix had the edge on offense, Gonzalez and Hart each getting three HR and scoring nine Runs. Votto had four HR for Lil, who also took pitching, behind Danks W + 10 K.
