Joe Saunders

Hang on. How does someone with an ERA+ of 90 like Harang, playing for a last-place team, end up with a record of 12-3? Only one qualifying NL pitcher since the 19th century has posted a .800 W% over a full season, with an ERA+ below a hundred. That was the endearingly-named Hooks Wiltse, who went 13-3 with a 96 ERA+ while with the '04 Giants. In case you were wondering, I mean the 1904 Giants. Time for the Arizona Diamondbacks to restore the natural order of things, and deliver some regression there, I think,. Now, can we avoid any more of that, from our own Mr. Regression?

  5. Paul Goldschmidt 1B

  8. Gerardo Parra LF
  9. Jose Saunders LHP

Already getting close to game time, so I'll say no more. Extend the winning streak to five games, and then we can turn our attentions to cheering for the Astros.
