Man, that was fun. More info from SnakePitFest to follow, but for now, let's stick to the game, which largely turned on Ryan Robert's three-run homer to left-field - after Justin Upton was hit by a pitch. Daniel Hudson got the win, for eight solid innings [or, more accurately, six solid innings and a couple of wobbly ones], and the Diamondbacks extended the winning streak to five games, and guaranteed themselves another won series - they've only lost one [the Dodgers one] of the last eleven, going back to July 4, and are 22-13 over that time.
Here are Kirk Gibson, Hudson and Roberts speaking after the game, as well as Stephen Drew and the newest D-back, Lyle Overbay, from before it. soco-flavored recap and SPF reports upcoming.
