• [Houston Chronicle] Diamondbacks 11, Astros 9: Lyles rocked in the middle innings of a wild one in the desert - Everyone in the lineup contributed yesterday- all the starting fielders had a hit, and everyone except for Chris Young had at least a run or an RBI.

• [DBacks.com] Injured Blum resumes baseball activities - Blum is hoping to be back as soon as he can. "I can't speed up Mother Nature, but I'm doing the best I can."

• [FS Arizona] Diamondbacks' Bauer looks to be on the move - He's been tearing through opponents for Visalia, so it looks like our top draft pick should be on his way to play for the Mobile BayBears very soon.

• [AZ Central] Arizona Diamondbacks' Ryan Roberts moves up in batting order - 13 walks in 11 games helped convince Gibby that the Dread Pirate was ready to move up in the order.

• [The D-blog] Blum reflects on MLB debut twelve years later - I always wonder how many former players of lapsed teams are still around. Well, the Expos still have at least one on the DBacks roster.

• [HardballTalk] MLB announces postseason schedule, eliminates off days - Yessssss. Off-days in the playoffs never made sense to me, and I'm not a fan of November baseball, so I support this move.
