So, we lost this one after our seventh-best reliever was sent out for a second inning, and our left-handed specialist got to see three batters face him right-handed. No: couldn't have foreseen that ending badly, in any shape or form. Defeat snatched from the jaws of victory. I haven't heard what Kirk Gibson, Daniel Hudson and Miguel Montero have to say, but it should be fascinating... I'm off to see Hobo With A Shotgun at the newly-opened Royale in Mesa, which should provide plenty of cathartic violence to wipe the taste of this one from my mouth.
