I blame Ian McMillan for last night's defeat - just as the Kid Kaster always seems to be bad luck, I think the video embedded in yesterday's Gameday Thread cursed Daniel Hudson and doomed the Diamondbacks to an evening of futility. My bad. Won't be making that mistake again.

Ransom at third-base! I'm so excited, for reasons explained in yesterday's game-day thread. I've a feeling his numbers with us will be only a fraction of what they were in Reno [see also Wily Mo Pena, Brandon Allen, Sean Burroughs...], but I am bizarrely, inexplicably pleased for the man, with enthusiasm which I was unable to muster for any of our other veteran presences. Bring us luck, Cody. Even the series and give us a shot at taking it tomorrow.
