The past couple of games have been quite the roller-coaster of emotions, mostly not in a good way. Barry Enright's triumphant return proved fleeting, the bullpen failed us in both games, our offense couldn't get a guy home from third with no outs, and last but certainly not least, we lost Stephen Drew for the year and the Brewers might have lost Carlos Gomez. That's enough suckage for this series, I'd say. Ian Kennedy: it's up to you to remind us why we're fans. Because the last couple of days have been pretty short on reasons to be cheerful. But, to be frank, I'd settle for a game where everyone reaches the end intact.

This might end up being close(ish) to a steady line-up going forward. I'd expect to see some platooning between Blum and Ryan Roberts at third, and the same with Allen and Xavier Nady at 1B. So, I don't think Cody Ransom will probably be seeing an enormous amount of playing-time.
