It went pretty quick: two pitches, two runs. I knew they were a pretty aggressive team, but the last time I faced him was probably in the minor leagues. I figured they'd see at least one pitch, but obviously not!

Lots of blame to go around this one. The three batters who came up with a runner on third, and failed to drive him in. The rest of the offense, who were 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position. Closer J.J. Putz for the pitch dispatched into the bleachers. The triple-headed suck beast of the bench known as Bloonadara, for the limp performance in the ninth. Even Ian Kennedy for his non-quality start. So much finger-pointing, so little time. Here's Kirk Gibson, Kennedy and the largely blameless Kelly Johnson to talk about it.
