Oh, look - it's the rest of the division. Seems kinda odd to have completed two entire series and what should have been six games against the Rockies, before we even sniff the Padres or Dodgers. Not that I really want to sniff them: I'm thinking Eau De Shamu for the former, and Penniless Tramp for the latter. [There actually used to be a perfume in the 70's called Tramp - I'm not making this up]. But I think we should move rapidly on, though if you have any other ideas for the perfumes each franchise should have... That's what the comments are for. Rather that than more discussion of cars, please...

Apparently, Kevin Towers said the Padres were going to get Daniel Hudson from the White Sox as part of the Jake Peavy trade. Phew. That would have sucked. Anyway, we see if we can get on a bit of a roll tonight, even though the Diamondbacks have had a tendency so far to play at the level, or just below, of their opponents. We play well against good teams, and badly against the bottom-dwellers. The Padres are firmly in the latter category, and already being seven games out of a playoff spot, could find themselves looking to 2012 even quicker than we did.
The Rockies and Giants are facing off up the California coast: if results go our way, we could find ourselves tied for second by the end of the night. Clefo on the stand-in recap for 'charmer tonight, so stick around for that.
