As already noted, it's Cinco del Drinco today, so we have an excuse to drink heavily, should the need arise. That said, this would appear to be the most equitable of the pitching match-ups this season, and having split the first two games, we still have a credible shot at taking the finale. However, in the event of that going belly-up, we can look forward to the sight of a Fox Sports Arizona presenter being plunged into the water at Chase. This year, reigning champion Mark Grace managed to avoid the pool poll, and it's between Joe Borowski and Todd Walsh. Somehow, Borowski is ahead in voting to date: I trust readers will be rectifying this shameful miscarriage of justice.

  1. Chris Young CF
  2. Kelly Johnson 2B
  3. Justin Upton RF
  4. Stephen Drew SS
  5. Miguel Montero C
  6. Melvin Mora 3B
  7. Juan Miranda 1B
  8. Gerardo Parra LF
  9. Ian Kennedy RHP

Steve Gilbert tweeted that Drew may or may not be in the line-up, depending on how he felt after batting practice. It certainly looks a very different team without him, as we saw last night. With all respect to Josh Wilson, he's not Stephen Drew. Here's to him being present, and the Diamondbacks clinching a winning home-stand with a victory, which would send us off to San Diego with some momentum.
