A well-pitched game, both teams managing sub-three ERAs, but Snake came out on top, piling up 63 whiffs, behind Hanson (Win + 17 K), which was enough to counter Lee's Win + 14 strikeouts for Wolf. McCann and Peralta had two homers apiece for Snake, while Walker drove in eight for Wolf.
Alabama Slammers 7, Mizzoula Osprey 3
In the Game of the Week, Slammers eased past Osprey, thanks to a powerful performance from Pitcher of the Week Pineda (two Wins, 16 K's 0.00 ERA), while Shields added 22 K's. Madson (Slammers) and Rodriguez (Osprey) had three Sv apiece. Bruce hit three HR for Slammers.
Blonde Streaks 6, Ignatius J. Rallies 4
The week's only close game saw Blonde sweep pitching, and take Runs by two, which proved crucial as the Rallies won the other hitting points. They hit .350 for the week, led by Stanton (three HR) and Gonzalez (seven RBI), but Streaks had a 2.27 ERA, two W by Tomlin and a W + Sv from Wilson
Lady Gaga Regatta 0, The Fighting Amish 10
Champions Amish returned to form with a vengeance, sweeping Lady in convincing fashion. Marcum had two Wins and a dozen strikeouts, as their pitching piled up 74 K's and a 2.59 ERA. Salas had a W and three Saves. Ramirez (Lady) and Bautista (Amish) each delivered a pair of home-runs.
Sofa King Juiced 7, Los Wailoracles 2
"Every week it seems like I'm losing by 1 point in every category," complained Sofa's boss - not this time, as they took RBI and W by one on the way to victory. Their pitchers had a 1.67 ERA, Bedard, Peavy + Lincecum all posting zeroes. Hernandez had a W + 22 K's for Los, Teixieira three HR for Sofa.
warlords 0, Phoenix Platypi 10
The week's second sweep saw war mauled by a flock of Platypi. Hudson had two W + 12 K,. while Putz and Nunez picked up three Saves each. Platypi also had Hitter of the Week Cabrera (three HR, nine R, seven RBI, .379 avg); Rodriguez was war's best player, with a Win and 12 strikeouts.
Lil Bitches 8, Whooping Zoidbergs 2
Lil swept pitching, though it was close, with W + Sv going their way by one, and K by two. They got a W and 10 K from Kuroda, Zoidbergs countering with a W plus 13 strikeouts by Jackson. Granderson homered three times for Lil, as did Rodriguez for Whooping. Votto drove in six for Lil.

Lil vs. Platypi will be the ESPN game of the week, pitting a pair of top five teams against each other. It'll be the Platypi's first coverage - they're 0-2 against others in the top six, but are 4-1-0 playing those lower, so will need to break that trend this week. Lil's only loss came in Week 5 at the hands of Sofa, and they've won twice since. Asdrubal Cabrera is the Platypi's best player, ranked #10 overall - Curtis Granderson fills the same role for Lil.
