National League All-Star manager Bruce Bochy of the San Francisco Giants today announced the managers who will serve as coaches at the 82nd All-Star Game, to be played on July 12th at Chase Field. Bochy, who previously served as N.L. manager at the 1999 All-Star Game and has been an N.L. coach in the Midsummer Classic four times, has asked Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson and Nationals skipper Jim Riggleman to be the N.L. coaches. Gibson is the only Most Valuable Player in baseball history who did not play in the Midsummer Classic. Also on the staff will be D-backs head athletic trainer Ken Crenshaw.
