Man, it seems forever since I've done a recap. Almost as long as the last Galarraga quality start, in fact - my last recap was May 2nd, his last QS came on April 29th. Since then, in his two starts he has only lasted a total of 9.2 innings, allowing six earned runs on 11 hits and - this was the killer - nine walks. His walk rate for the season is a team worst 4.8 per nine IP: that would be fourth-worst in the NL, if Armando actually had thrown enough innings to qualify [he should do after tonight, assuming he lasts more than two innings]. He needs to take a page from the Josh Collmenter book of pitching and throw frickin' strikes: Galarraga = 60% strikes, Collmenter = 70%.

Not seen a line-up yet, all I know is that Kelly Johnson is apparently sitting this one out. Presuming that this means Ryan Roberts at second and Melvin Mora on 3B, but I trust someone will edit that in down the line. We're going to have Chinese for dinner, but should hopefully be back in time for first pitch. Hopefully, it's a strike...
