SnakeSounds: 5/14 vs. Dodgers

Starting? It's vastly over-rated.
-- Josh Collmenter
Ok, I made that up - this 'puter doesn't have speakers, so I can't tell what he really said - but it's probably not far from the truth. Collmenter did what he has done coming out of the 'pen, throwing strikes: only 17 balls out of the zone all afternoon. And he needed to be great, because our hitters sure weren't. Still, as noted in the GDT, the Dodgers become the first team in recorded baseball history to have their pitching staff fan 10+ hitters, while allowing no earned runs and one hit...yet still lose. I think I speak for all of us, when I say: "Hahahaha!".Sandwiching Josh are Kirk Gibson and Stephen Drew, a.k.a the offense.
