Happy day-before-the-day-before-the-weekend, everyone! 'Pit Your Wits is back again with the more creative side of things, but you'll have to hit the jump to see the details of this week's challenge. As usual, the results of last week's Kelly-Johnson-batting-average challenge can be found in the same place as well as the updated leaderboard. So, get your creative juices flowing and reccing hands ready. We'll meet up after the jump, promise.
Both Swag11 and frienetic are new to the scene, as each took home their first medal to join the others on the leaderboard. Each guessed .280, just six points off of Kelly Johnson's .286 for the week.
Jdub20 was the sole silver medalist this week, with a guess of .290 missing the actual average by just four points. This is his first week on the leaderboard.
Continuing the theme of newbies charting, Baja F1 took home the Golden Wailord to catapult himself into the top half of the leaderboard. Congrats to Baja and his guess of .285, missing Kelly's actual performance by just a single point.

The leaderboard grew to 18 this past week, but no major shake-ups; still a large group tied for third (unsurprisingly, those with a single gold) while AJ remains in first and Jim is still chilling in second. There's a good chance that PYW will run multiple seasons each season (one for each side of the All-Star Break). I think it'll help with clutter on the leaderboard and will give more people a chance once the leaders begin to run away with it - ttly cool ya? Anyway, on to this week's contest...
The SnakePit's getting t-shirts! For those that haven't seen, Jim made the announcement over here. Right now, it seems we have a design - what we're lacking, however, is a tagline. Pick a tagline that you think would best represent the SnakePit on the official 'Pit shirts.
No deadline this week, as we're going off of recs again. The winning entry won't necessarily be used, but getting some ideas out there certainly wouldn't hurt!
