Just not making a good pitch with two strikes on a guy. Getting ahead, not being able to finish them off... The split just wasn't sharp tonight. And so it goes. The Diamondbacks are now 8-6 facing teams at or above .500, 3-8 against those with losing records. The Rockies can't get here soon enough. I think there's few things more annoying then losing to a mediocre team like the Cubs, especially when you're a mediocre team yourselves. And now we find ourselves having to win tomorrow to split the series. Grrrr... Here are the thoughts of Kirk Gibson, Ian Kennedy, Stephen Drew and Putz.
