Well, a series win is nothing to be unhappy with, really.

• [AZ Central] Cincinnati Reds top Arizona Diamondbacks, avoid sweep - Hudson did settle down, at least- after he got out of the first inning, he didn't give up another hit until the fifth. Of course, that was a home run, but you can't have everything.

• [FSN Arizona] D-backs start slow, fall to Leake, Reds - We at least made an effort at winning this one, getting the tying run to the plate in the ninth. Of course, that doesn't make any difference in the standings.

• [AZ Central] Arizona Diamondbacks battle road demons - Over the past few years, the Diamondbacks have been pretty bad on the road, only winning 25 outside of Chase last year. If they're going to make this team any more enjoyable to watch, this is one of the things they'll need to work on.

• [DBacks.com] D-backs' Luis Gonzalez and Derrick Hall stop by MLB Fan Cave - Wait, Gonzo says he hit a line drive to win the World Series? I don't know that I'd agree with that...

• [The D-blog] Roberts is Red Hot - Lot of love for the Dread Pirate out there today- and he's earned it. "Roberts is exactly the kind of guy people root for, because he plays hard and really treats the fans well."

• [D'Backs Central] Ryan Roberts Off to Red Hot Start - Okay, I must have missed something- what happened between Ryan Roberts and Sergio Romo during Saturday's game?

• [ESPN] Los Angeles Dodgers vice chairman Steve Soboroff blasts MLB's takeover, defends Frank McCourt - I'm sure this will start off this relationship on the right foot. Soboroff says "Frank [McCourt] has money in the bank." Sooooo, that's why he got a $30 million loan to meet payroll? Apparently McCourt is thinking about a lawsuit against MLB- no matter what, his lawyers are going to come out the winners here.

• [Baseball Nation] Bud Selig Optimistic About Expanding Playoffs To 10 Teams In 2012 - Ugh... Because we need to make the playoffs longer.

• [bettor.com] Texas Rangers’ Brandon Webb improves his pitching - I wonder if this is just an article from last year with the team replaced. "The club always was under the thumb when it came out of the Spring Training with backup pitchers. With the likes of Brandon Webb on the sidelines, nothing solid can be said of the rotation." See, that could have been just straight from last season.
