Getting this one posted in advance, since Cox are supposedly "upgrading" our Internet service at some time during the night. While this is supposed to have no effect on our access, the email announcing it included a long string of "If your modem does not come back online after this update, please complete the following steps:.." So if I'm not around for the Gameday Thread, you'll know why... No line-up at this point, but I'm sure someone will toss one on the other side of this jump...

Daniel Hudson takes on Mike Leake, and I've little doubt we'll be mercilessly lampooning the latter for his inexplicable alleged decision to "exchange" shirts at Macy's - including ripping off the security tag - without bothering to involve any of the employees. He just didn't want to bother them, that's all... Let the sarcasm flow as free as the milk on your breakfast cereal, folks. Let's hope that the runs are also flowing for Daniel Hudson, who sits at 0-3, despite the best ERA of any member of our rotation. Yet, curiously, Hudson still thinks wins are an important stat.

"A lot of people may think that they're an overrated stat for pitchers, but I don't think they are at all. For me, if you win the game that means you stayed in the game long enough, kept your team in the game and won. Obviously there's two sides to it," he said. "You pitch well you don't get a win, you pitch poorly and you do get a win sometimes. That's the way the game goes. I still think they're an important stat because they're the only stat that has anything to do with the team."

Victory today would give us a sweep - the Diamondbacks' first on the road since August 9-11 last season in Milwaukee. That'd be nice. I'll see you in the comments. Cox permitting...
