Help us Obi-Wan Enrighti, you're our only hope... Of avoiding a sweep at the hands of the Giants, anyway. I blame blue bulldog for angering the baseball gods with his post earlier in the week - we haven't won since, so clearly they frown on such pride and arrogance cautious optimism. Can the team do any better than the past couple of days and finish the home-stand a still underwhelming 2-4? That's what we are here to find out.

  1. Willie Bloomquist LF
  2. Kelly Johnson 2B
  3. Justin Upton RF
  4. Chris Young CF
  5. Stephen Drew SS
  6. Xavier Nady 1B
  7. Miguel Montero C
  8. Ryan Roberts 3B
  9. Barry Enright RHP

Left-hander on the mound, so Gerardo Parra and our "starting first-baseman" (quotes used advisedly - he now hasn't started the last five games in a row) Juan Miranda get to take a seat over there. No Mora in the line-up either, and he's a right-hander, which is...interesting. Bumgarner's season hasn't started well, but he dominated the D-backs in his three games against them last year, going undefeated and allowing three runs in 19.1 innings (a 1.40 ERA). Enright has been consistent in 2011: six innings, four earned runs...and guess how long his average start against SF last year was? Six innings (24 over four games). 4.50 ERA there though.

Prosopis is scheduled for the guest recap, so stick around for that.
