I am not going to be about much for this battle of the underachieving left-handers! I'll be hanging out with Sid Haig and Charles Band over at the MADCAP in Tempe, for the screening of Evil Bong 3-D. And that's if I can be pried off my new toys [Kindle and Apple TV]. Yeah, somehow, Saunders vs. Zito is pretty far down my list of entertainment options tonight. Which, of course, probably means there's a no-hitter in the offing.

Is this team building for the future or trying to contend? Because the only 1B likely to be here next season is Juan Miranda: this is the eighth game of the home-stand, and he has started just two of them. Kelly Johnson sits today as well, with Roberts getting a start at second-base instead. Miguel Montero moves back up the order....to seventh, in between Nady and Mora. That's really posing opposing pitcher with a quandary, isn't it?
