The Rumor Mill has been grinding away this afternoon, as talks have began to materialize between the D-backs and Oakland A's on a trade for young right-handed starter Trevor Cahill. Nothing is certain yet, but the most heavily rumored pieces involved from Arizona's end are right-handed pitching prospect Jarrod Parker and outfielder Collin Cowgill, with A's left-handed reliever Craig Breslow possibly headed to Arizona. As of now, there's no formal news to report, but as my subjective opinion, you know something is going to go down when Bowden says it is. Say what you want about him, but he has excellent sources in the industry and has rarely been wrong about a rumor this off-season.
