Trying to work out if it would be better for the Diamondbacks to win or lose this series. After the Pittsburgh disaster, we're within spitting distance of the #2 spot in Tankapalooza, so could claim that with a couple more losses. On the other hand, I do want them to beat up on the Rockies. But the truth is, to do so would only be to the advantage of the Padres and Giants. Unfortunately, at least one of those three is going to make the post-season no matter what: the good thing is that two of them won't, and I'll enjoy the angst which results there. As long as it is only one, with the wild-card going elsewhere. Victory for us will help ensure this, so on that basis: Go Diamondbacks!

There. Glad it's sorted. Not that I'll be about much to watch this one, as we're plotting to catch up on about four hours worth of televisual and cinematic goodness this evening with SnakePit Jr. I'll be checking in during the odd advert break, pause for refreshments, etc. but don't expect much more than that. Hey, it's a choice between spending the evening with Joe Saunders or Angelina Jolie. We've all made more difficult decisions than that. Anyway, here's the line-up for tonight, as Arizona starts the final home-stand of 2010. Games until the blessed end of the season: 12.
