Yeah, the Nationals again. We'll also be getting to face them next weekend. Not really a shock that last night's game saw a franchise-record low crowd, and one wonders whether tonight will be any different? Last night felt more like the 158th game of the season than one with a full third still left to play, but with both teams dead last and going nowhere this year, I'm not surprised. Still, we keep showing up for these things...because it's what we do. Make bad puns, find ways to enjoy the games and discuss what we had for dinner.
Not got a line-up as yet, but it seems Mark Reynolds won't be in it. Jack Magruder tweets Mark is "out of the lineup, but tests have ruled out concussion." Hopefully he's okay - he certainly didn't look like it last night, going 0-for-3 with three strikeouts, and was replaced thereafter.
I'll be in and out, but as I'm recapping this one, guess it should be mostly "in".
