Not a lot interesting to say about yesterday's game, it seemed like a lot of what we saw early in the season. Offense didn't do too much, bullpen couldn't keep us in it. A pretty frustrating game to watch.

[azcentral.com] Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Daniel Hudson's effort not enough in loss to Cincinnati Reds - "During Josh Byrnes' tenure as general manager of the Diamondbacks, he made plenty of trades and decisions on contract extensions that didn't sit well with the fans. So far, his replacement appears to be batting 1.000." Really, AZ Central? I wouldn't go that far...

[theglobeandmail.com] Baseball in the desert: Part 1 - Toronto-based newspaper The Globe and Mail has been doing a series throughout the season, visiting each ballpark in Major League Baseball. They posted the first part of their visit to Chase Field today, and the result is a pretty heart-felt love letter to Phoenix, Chase Field, and the Diamondbacks. If you only read one link in today's SnakeBytes, I recommend this one.

[AZCentral] Dipoto, Gibson have team moving in the right direction - "On a summer road trip to Boston, two players became inebriated, obnoxious and disrespectful. They began mocking sponsors who were traveling on the team plane." If it was the Brown Hand Center guy, I think we'd all side with the drunk players. (I'm kinda curious who...)

Is there anyone here with a peanut allergy? Have you attended games at Chase? How much of a problem is it for you? I'm just curious.

There are your stories for the day. We face off against the Reds again tonight- how about the bats stick around longer than just the first this time? Just a suggestion.
