And the playoff push continues for your 2010 Arizona Diamondbacks - or, as we're calling them after last night, your 2010 Arizona Diamondback-to-back-to-back-to-backs. A four-game sweep on the road would be very nice, but we have to do it without the New Kids on the Block, relying instead on Rodrigo "Batting Practice" Lopez. Since the All-Star Break, the team is 1-4 in Lopez starts, and he has an ERA of 5.70. Guess he didn't get the memo that he is supposed to pitch like a Cy Young winner under the new management.

  1. Chris Young CF
  2. Augie Ojeda 2B
  3. Justin Upton RF
  4. Adam LaRoche 1B
  5. Mark Reynolds 3B
  6. Rusty Ryal LF
  7. Stephen Drew SS
  8. John Hester C
  9. Rodrigo Lopez RHP

With all due respect to Augie, Rusty and John, it looks like the B-roster getting run out there today, though in part it's because there's a left-hander on the mound, and Gerardo Parra and Miguel Montero haven't been dealing with them too well of late. We faced Wolf earlier in the season, back in May, and he beat us, going six innings and allowing three runs, as Milwaukee scraped out a win, 17-3. But this is, literally, not those D-backs. - of the nine starters that day, four (CoJack, Tony Abreu, Chris Snyder and Cesar Valdez) are no longer on the roster and another (Kelly Johnson) enjoys the bench today.
