Back to back wins, huh? Kind of a nice feeling. It's a little unfamiliar, to be sure. But Barry Enright pitched a great game yesterday, so I'll keep the cynicism to a minimum for now. Good game, Barry.

[freep.com] D'backs give Kirk Gibson first win streak - I'm not sure two wins really constitutes a win streak, but I guess, at this point of the season, we'll take what we can get.

[Diary of a Diehard] Reaching Out to a New Generation - "The wins and losses don’t matter nearly as much. It was the fact that I could share my love of baseball with another generation. One that I hope will one day grow up and tell her own children about the time grandpa took her to the ballpark and showed her the game he loved so much. It is through experiences such as this that this will become a baseball town." To me, baseball is a family thing, and this is a fantastic story.

[mlb.com] Must C Controversial: Dodgers' mound visits - We're not the only team that can lose in stupid ways. Just watch this and know that the next pitcher came in and immediately gave up a two-run double. Well, that's all for today. Dan Haren takes the mound as we try to- mop? Vacuum? Squeegee? Yeah, I think that's it- as we try to squeegee the Mets out of town. Here's to a good game.
