After last night's sterling performance, will the Diamondbacks continue in the same vein, or will they revert to the tin-plate excuse for a baseball team we've seen more often this season? They have managed exactly one set of back-to-back victories in 29 games since June 15, so history is against us. They are also facing a knuckleballer in Dickey, which is a style of pitching I always find fun to watch. However, given our team's issues with strikeouts, and making contact in general, this evening's at-bats promise to be an interesting exercise in patience.
Not going to about at all for this one. Tonight is the eighth anniversary of me and Mrs. SnakePit getting hitched, so will remain baseball-free - by the time you read this, we'll be on our way to a pleasant dinner. 'Skins is doing the recap, so we'll see whether or not he has something pleasant to write about.
