Barry Enright
RHP, 1-1, 3.38

Battle of the N00bs today, with Sanabia making his first ever start in the majors - he's been in the bullpen so far - and Enright getting start #3. Both men were promoted from Double-A, which seems to be becoming more of a trend lately. The Diamondbacks have already clinched at least a split of this four-game set, with last night's victory, and will again be trying to get consecutive wins for only the third time since May 22, which is now 44 games ago.

Line-up and quick details after the jump, as I need to get back to the World Cup Final for one last BRRRRRRRRT!

  1. Chris Young CF
  2. Kelly Johnson 2B
  3. Justin Upton RF
  4. Miguel Montero C
  5. Mark Reynolds 3B
  6. Stephen Drew SS
  7. Rusty Ryal 1B
  8. Gerardo Parra LF
  9. Barry Enright RHP

Adam LaRoche sits again, seems like his back is still playing him up, but otherwise it's back to a more "normal" line-up for the Diamondbacks. Be good to finish the first-half with some semblance of strength. Random factoid: you might be surprised to hear which Diamondbacks (min 100 PAs) has the second-best OPS+ this season so far, behind only Kelly Johnson. It's Chris Snyder, whose 107 is now ahead of Reynolds (105), plus Upton, Young and LaRoche (all 102).

'Skins is meandering his way back from San Diego, so I'm on the last recap of the first half. See you after the game for that, and will likely be lurking around during it as well.
