Despite a cunning effort by the Red Sox to confuse things by moving this game up an hour, I am actually posting this Gameday Thread in a timely manner. Mind you, this also all but guarantees I won't get to see any of the game, so do not expect my recap to be full of eye-witness observations: if it ain't in the box-score, do not expect to read about it. However, if we lose, the Diamondbacks notching their thirteenth consecutive loss on the road, expect to see some stuff about where exactly that ranks on the list of futility for NL teams.
Line-up and a sulking Dan Haren after the jump.

Yeah, despite having the best batting average in the majors among any player with 40 PAs - and it's not even close, with the #2 now fifty-five points below Haren's .425 - there is no spot in the batter's box for Dan this afternoon. And the game will be all the poorer for it. Let's hope he can prove himself solely on the mound, and we can get out of Boston with some shred of National League dignity intact.
