How long must we wait before the stench of eel-inspired defeat is washed away from the Diamondbacks team? That's five losses in a row now, and we turn to Dan Haren to see if he can perhaps stop the rot. The bullpen did get a bit of a rest, thanks to Rodrigo Lopez going seven innings last night - tying the season high for a Diamondbacks' starter - so we'll see if that makes a difference. Haren was victimized by them last time, walking off the mound with a 3-1 lead in Los Angeles, only to see it evaporate with the first batter faced by our relievers.
Lineups and stuff after the jump, including some important news for DirectTV and Dish customers wanting to see tonight's contect.
Well, never mind about the line-ups. Not seen 'em on Twitter as yet, so I'm sure we can fill those in later.

Also, spare a thought for the hardworking bods at Fox Sports Arizona, who have to handle playoff hockey, a D-backs game and playoff basketball on their channel - "Triple Threat Tuesday" is the first time they've had three live telecasts involving local teams on the same day. There have been some changes to the "Fox Sports Arizona Plus" channel, on which the D-backs game will be broadcast:
DirecTV is now 652 (SD) and 652-1 (HD)
DISH is 453 (SD) and 9517 (HD) - however, DISH will not be making the D-backs telecast available in HD
In the absence of much else, here's a quote from our manager:
We have guys in the big leagues and they need to make plays and come through when they get opportunities. It's a rough time and we can come up with any excuse we want to make us feel better. The bottom line is … we need to find a way to beat the opponent. -- AJ Hinch
Hear, hear to that. Sprankton on the recap this evening, I believe. Feels like we haven't won since the last time he was on the recap...
