Games until the blessed, merciful end of the season: 11.

Last night's game didn't quite live up to my expectations of a swift, crisply-played game. Indeed, what with all the mid-frame pitching changes, injuries, five-out innings etc. it took 3:32 to complete - and felt even longer. Surprisingly, it was well short of the longest regulation game played at Chase this year: that took another twenty minutes on top, when we beat the Nationals 10-8 on May 10th, a contest which included thirty hits, ten walks, three errors and eleven different pitchers. Here's to no more of that kind of thing tonight. Details after the jump...

Ok, not very many details after the jump actually. I had to reboot my computer before I could start posting this, and Mrs. SnakePit now tells me that dinner is ready [it consist of Victor Frankenstein's liver and a nice chianti, I believe]. So there will be no in-depth analysis, though I will throw in an update later with some audio clippage from Hinch discussing our defense. I will be about-ish, but I'm starting the transcription of the Sutton/Grace chat from last night, so don't know how active I will be. Sprankton will be your scheduled recapper tonight, so looking forward to that.
