And so, we exit July with a winning record - but more on that tomorrow when I recap the month - and head into August, hoping for more of the same. Don't have time to do any kind of proper previiew, but Perez has proved eminently hittable in his starts this season, while Max Scherzer hasn't. I'm therefore optimistic we have a good chance in this one. Free runs from the Mets would be helpful...

Bit of a B-lineup out there, with Drew, Montero and Whitesell all being benched for the day. Roberts batting lead-off. Ok. Scratch all that optimism I was feeling until I saw the lineup...
