Week 13 Results

AZ SnakePit 3, Moving on Uptons 5
Uptons used their offense to get the win, batting .304 behind Pujols (three HR, eight RBI) and Morneau (four HR, eight RBI) and swept hitting. SnakePit hit below the Uecker Line; however, they fought back on pitching, Billingsley getting 16 K's. Wins and saves ended tied.

Blonde Streaks 2, Kapsaicin Kids 8
Victory here moved Kids into the top half of the league, and they largely have Lee (four HR, 12 RBI) to thank for their success. They also got a dozen strikeouts apiece from Jimenez and Wainwright, though Streaks countered with two wins and 17 K's from Lincecum.

GregSchulteOverdrive 6, Confederate Generals 3
Something of an upset here, but Greg deserved it, posting a collective 2.28 ERA and 0.86 WHIP for the week, while also hitting .337. Oswalt had two W and 14 K, while Choo hit three HR and drove in nine. The Generals got three home-runs by Dunn. Saves finished level.

Balco's Boys 6, Shoryukens! 2
Two HR and four SB from Ellsbury were key to Balco's success, though Shoryu got three home-runs and seven RBI out of Reynolds, to keep things close in hitting. However, they had no answer to Lilly's win and sixteen K's for Balco, and could only tie W and SV categories.

Captain Douchebag 1, The Fighting Amish 9
The fall of Captain has been spectacular - in the past six weeks they are 15-42-3, and now occupy the cellar. This round, they only took SB, otherwise it was all Amish. Three homers each from A-Rod and Lind was backed by a Win, two Saves and a zero ERA by Franklin.

Arizona Muugens 8, warlords 2
This could have been a sweep: war took WHIP by 0.01 and their BA of .222 would have lost most weeks. However, Muugens hit only .185, though were otherwise better. For them, Roberts scored eight Runs and swiped two bags, and Burnett got a W and seven K's.

Wimboes Barmy Army 4, 7-2 Offsuiters 4
SB and K were tied, and the game ended that way too. 7-2 had the edge at the plate, with Fielder (eight R, three HR) their star; Nathan and Soria each saved three. however, the Army leveled things on the mound, Nolasco getting two W and 20 K, while Rivera got three Saves.

Desert Dingleberries 6, Baked 4
With a sub-two ERA, Desert would seem to have pitching locked, but Baked piled up sixty strikeouts; 17 for Lester, while Haren had two Wins and 15 K's. However, Desert hit back on offense, getting seven RBI each from Guerrero and Branyan, and took overall victory.

GregSchulteOverdrive vs. Kapsaicin Kids
Balco's Boys vs. Confederate Generals
Captain Douchebag vs. Shoryukens!
Arizona Muugens vs. The Fighting Amish
Wimboes Barmy Army vs. warlords
7-2 Offsuiters vs. Baked

No problem deciding the Game of the Week: second-placed Arizona Muugens take on the third-placed Fighting Amish, both teams coming off very solid victories last round. Muugens' outfielder trio of Ethier, Werth and Hunter have combined for 49 HR and 162 RBI, while Halladay has ten Wins already. Meanwhile, the Amish are so deep, they can afford to bench 20 HR man Cruz; after all, they have Dye's 20 dingers too. Santana's nine wins anchors their pitching staff.
