Week 15 Results

AZ SnakePit 4, Baked 4
Baked's pitching continued their strong showing, Haren's Win and eight strikeouts helping them to a 1.73 ERA for the week, and Broxton notching two saves. However, Snakes' hitting was just as good, McCann scoring five runs while Barmes homered twice. SB and W ended tied.

Blonde Streaks 3, Desert Dingleberries 6
Not much to separate these two teams, especially in pitching, where Desert took W by one, K by three and WHIP by .02. Howell's three Sv, four K and zero WHIP for them was therefore crucial. Figgins (four Runs, three RBI, HR) also did well; Morales had two HR for Blonde.

GregSchulteOverdrive 3, Moving on Uptons 5
Uptons were within one SB of sweeping hitting, with Granderson (two HR, eight RBI) their star. Gutierrez had two HR for Greg, who did better on the mound, with Oswalt delier a W and five K's. However, Uptons team ERA of only 0.69 was enough, led by Cain (W + eight K's).

Balco's Boys 4, Kapsaicin Kids 4
A very even game, with HR and SB ending tied. Boys had the edge in pitching, taking advantage of the waiving of innings limits this week to post a zero ERA, solely from relief pitchers Wilson and Sherrill. Jimenez had a W and 10 K's for Kids, and four RBI by Holliday secured the tie.

Captain Douchebag 4, Confederate Generals 5
Generals beat last-placed Captain, but it was close, three strikeouts proving the difference in this one - Zimmerman gave them eight. Soriano and Montero each had a pair of homers too; Captain fought back with five RBI by Theriot, plus a Win and eight K's from Hernandez.

Arizona Muugens 1, Shoryukens! 7
Muugens dropped another televised game, losing heavily to Shoryu. This was closer than it looked; the winners took R, RBI and K by a single tally. Neither side homered; they combined for only nine RBI. A W + eight K's for Hughes & two Saves by Aardsma powered Shoryu's victory.

Wimboes Barmy Army 3, The Fighting Amish 6
Amish swept hitting, albeit by .001 in BA, behind a pair of home-runs from Rodriguez, and staved off a comeback from the Army in pitching, where Rivera picked up three Saves for them. In a rare occurrence, ERA ended tied, both sides posting a figure of 3.18.

7-2 Offsuiters 6, warlords 2
Leaders 7-2 retained that position, getting two Home-Runs and five RBI apiece from Fielder and Ibañez. Lee gave them a Win and six K's, while Nathan picked up a couple of saves as well. war got a W plus eight strikeouts from Baker, but hit only .167 this round.

Another easy pick for Game of the Week on the MLB Network. Top-placed 7-2 Offsuiters take on The Fighting Amish, in a contest which should go a long way to deciding who has the best record, with the benefits that brings, in the play-offs. Home-run Derby champion Prince Fielder and Raul Ibañez for 7-2 go up against a formidable 1-2 pitching punch, in the shape of Johan Santana and Chris Carpenter. 7-2 have been beaten once in the past ten weeks; Amish have won five straight. Seems like something has to give...
