Haren on the mound, and the Padres obviously fear him, as they refused to send Jake Peavy out to the mound against our ace - claiming some kind of respiratory infection. Whatever. Conor Jackson would like to explain what a real "respiratory infection" is like. i would say I fancy our chances, but after last night's sixth inning, the question of who is starting for us seems a good deal less important than whether the Arizona bullpen coughs it up. It seems there is no lead which can not be wasted - and wasted quickly - by the relief corps.

I will be about, not least because looks like I'll be doing the recap: actually, that'll be kind of a change. Not sure how active I'll be in the Gameday Thread, as I've also got to finish off my look at the Diamondbacks draft history, all the way to before the team's first game, which will be going up tonight. And since I see we're already a little behind schedule [hey, it's Sunday - sue me!], let's get the line-up posted.
