Crap. Even though I have this week off, I got completely involved in the house-moving thing this afternoon - they're coming to pick up the pod tomorrow, so we had to cram it as full as possible today. Finally managed to get that taken care of, with the bulk of the stuff shifted in there. Hopefully the bottom won't fall out of it when they pick it up - there are a lot of books in there.. Anyway, no real time to say much more than... Kansas City. Davis, the best seven-game loser in the National League, goes up against Meche who is also got some decent numbers for someone with a 3-5 ERA.

Gravity, who'll be attending the game and seeing our beloved Diamondbacks for the first time in person, I believe, will be on the guest recap, which works fine for me, since I'll be at IZW and by the time I come home am likely to want to go straight to bed [never mind the Tae Bo Workout or whatever, I can thoroughly recommend the 'emptying your house of stuff' workout for exercising muscle groups that haven't seen the light of day for some time...] So, 'Skins and 'Charmer, please do the needful, and promote his Fanpost, add the roll-call, etc.

Lineup

  1. Felipe Lopez 2B
  2. Gerardo Parra LF
  3. Justin Upton RF
  4. Stephen Drew SS
  5. Mark Reynolds 1B
  6. Chris Young CF
  7. Miguel Montero
  8. Eric Byrnes DH
  9. Ryan Roberts 3B + Doug Davis P

Yep. Our DH is hitting eighth, which goes to show one of the issues of an NL team playing in an AL park. We just don't have anyone who is really appropriate for the role... And here are some interviews from today's Gambo and Ash show: Bud Selig, mostly getting whacked with the steroid stick, and Diamondbacks' manager AJ Hinch
