AZ SnakePit 4. Arizona Muugens 5
A couple of Sunday steals proved the difference-maker here, Muugens taking SB by one point, and thus victory, despite six steals for SnakePit from Reyes. Werth (4 HR, 10 RBI) powered Muugens, while saves ended level at two apiece.
Blonde Streaks 5, Captain Douchebag 5
These two just couldn't be split, Blonde having the hitting edge behind Damon (5 HR, 15 RBI), but Captain being just as successful in pitching, where Saunders had two Wins and 13 K's, and Fuentes four Saves. Lincecum had 15 K's for Blonde.
GregSchulteOverdrive 6, Balco's Boys 4
Greg piled up 16 homers and 51 RBI, Beltran (4 HR, 10 RBI) leading the offensive charge. Despite lackluster pitching, a 5.32 ERA was enough for them; Rodriguez had four saves. For Balco, Dempster had a W and 16 K's and Cantu seven RBI.
Wimboes Barmy Army 7, Desert Dingleberries 3
Wimb dominated pitching behind Chamberlain (W, 17 K) and Maine (2 W, 10 K), striking out 62 all told; Desert managed 51 of their own, Harang getting a W and 16 K. On offense, both 1B homered twice, Giambi (Wimb) and Cabrera (Desert).
7-2 Offsuiters 2, Moving on Uptons 7
The Uptons continued moving on, now in second after this convincing win. They hit .305 collectively, with Bruce homering four times, and Pujols adding three. Porcello won twice on the mound; 7-2 got a Win and 13 K's from Gallardo.
warlords 3, Kapsaicin Kids 5
Bay had a great week (4 HR, 14 RBI) for war, but it wasn't enough, because of Kids'pitching - a 0.96 WHIP, with Josh Johnson's W and 11 K the most outstanding performance. Vasquez fanned 15 for War, Pence scored seven Runs for Kids.
The Fighting Amish 1, Confederate Generals 8
The week's most lop-sided contest saw Generals dominate, posting a .316 BA and tiny 1.24 ERA. Braun, Soriano and Markakis combined for 9 HR and 24 RBI while Greinke had a W and 15 K. Amish's point was is SB, where Kemp had three.
Shoryukens! 5, Baked 5
Not exactly a pitcher's duel: a winning ERA of 5.72 for Shor wasn't enough to split the teams. Ramirez (Shor, 11 R, 4 HR) and Longoria (Baked, 4 HR, 14 RBI) were the hitting stars. Street had two Saves for Shor, Lester a W and 16 K for Baked.
