Week 14 Results
AZ SnakePit 7, Desert Dingleberries 0
In an extraordinary close week, this was the only game won by more than 6-4. For Snake, Hardy [6 HR, 12 RBI, .600] and Floyd [2 W, 16 K] were unstoppable, though Holliday got 3 HR and 10 RBI for Desert. Both teams batted .336, with Sv and SB also ending tied.
Douchebaggery 4, Ignatius J. Rallies 5
With ERAs over six for each side, neither set of pitchers covered themselves in glory, and the points there were evenly split. Rallies got three homers from Sizemore and eight RBI by Lowell, and that was enough, despite three HR and ten RBI for Douche from DeRosa.
dbacktom 4, GregSchulteOverdrive 6
Greg used strong performances on the mount to pip tom, with Cordero getting two wins and three saves, while Cain fanned 15 and also had a W. tom got three saves off Saito, while Ankiel homered three times. Peralta was Greg's best hitter (4 R, 2 HR, 6 RBI, .320).
The Fighting Amish 4, warlords 6
The table-top clash went to warlords, with Halladay getting two wins and 13 K's, but it was inconclusive; three more Runs or RBI would have got Amish a tie. They got nine runs from Markakis, but war had eight RBI off LaRoche. A play-off rematch here seems likely.
Tucson Myth 5, last place 5
Eight runs and three HR from A-Rod powered last, and they had the edge in hitting, though Hairston's three HR helped Myth at the plate. Jones' one save was enough for Myth, but ten K's from Durbin countered there for last, and the overall result was a tie.
7-2 Offsuiters 4, Shenanigans 2.0 5
Neither team managed a stolen-base, and that gave Shen the game, by the narrowest margin. They have the pitching to thank, with a 2.80 ERA: Davis got a W and 10 K's. Howard had three HR for them, while Mauer scored and drove in five for 7-2, and Wilson had two saves.
Adriano Rosario's 5, Kapsaicin Kids 4
Swishes (Adriano) and Hawpe (Kids) each swatted three homers, but Kids got seven runs from Wright to have the lead at the plate. However, Rosario got a W and 8 K's from Cueto, to take both categories. Saves were level, wood and Soria each netting two.
Crazy VIII's 4, SHUperMen 6
VIII got four SV off Wilson plus a W and 17 K from Danks, but SHU's 2.70 collective ERA was too much to handle. They also got three HR, eight RBI and a .394 BA out of Ramirez, while Hart stole three bases, and SHU hit .319 on the week. Beltran stole four for VIII.
Desert Storm BC 4, Blonde Streaks 4
Storm piled up five wins and 59 K's, behind Shield's two W and 13 K's, but needed one more save to take overall victory. Chamberlain had 11 K's for streaks, who got eight runs and seven RBI from Spilborghs; Rios stole five for Storm, and RBI were also tied.
Arizona Muugens 4, Wimboes Barmy Army 4
Muugens dominated hitting, with Huff (3 HR, 9 RBI) and Winn (4 SB), but Wimb were just as good on the mound, behind Mussina (W and 13 K) and Lyon (two saves). SB ended level at five and wins at three, through the two sides combined for a total of 95 strikeouts.

Amish vs. Greg is the ESPN Game of the Week. Amish will seek to get back on the winning track after a narrow defeat by leaders warlords, which broke a four-game winning streak. Thames has eleven homers in the last month for them. Greg had a good victory over tom last week and will seek to build on that. Volquez and Cain give them a formidable 1-2 punch.
