AZ SnakePit Fantasy Baseball, Week 15

Week 15 Results

AZ SnakePit 8, Desert Storm BC 2
Snake swept pitching, with a 2.54 ERA - a Win and 12 K's for Matsuzaka anchored their staff, with two saves for Nathan. They hit only .191, and Storm also picked up RBI, behind six from Ramirez and Rios. Francisco scored six runs for Snake, and Atkins homered twice.

Douchebaggery 4, Desert Dingleberries 6
Desert took all five hitting points, thanks to McLouth (9 R, 4 HR, 9 RBI) - Cantu (Desert) and Favis (Douche) had three homers each. Douche had ten saves - five from Gregg - but Burnett's 15 K's helped Desert stop the sweep, and that point was enough to give them overall victory.

dbacktom 9, Ignatius J. Rallies 1
tom almost completed the clean-sweek, with Ignatius holding on to take BA by .016. Otherwise, tom dominated, behind Thome (6 R, 2 HR, 7 RBI) and Santana (two wins + 16 K). They also got two HR each from Bradley and Ankiel, while Saito had the only save for either side.

The Fighting Amish 2, GregSchulteOverdrive 7
With four homers from Ludwick, ten RBI by Peralta, and four SB for Ramirez, Greg were unstoppable at the plate, swatting twelve HR in all. Things were evenly split on the mound, where Lincecum (Amish) had a W and 13 K, while Volquez (Greg) had a W and 10 K - the latter had a miniscule 1.45 ERA

Tucson Myth 2, warlords 8
war got a W and 11 K from both Baker and Pettitte, while Papelbon notched three saves, as they went 5-for-5 in pitching. Myth were a little unlucky, losing HR by one, and BA by .003 - normally, .314 would be enough to win, but Ramirez's .500 week gave that to war.

7-2 Offsuiters 9, last place 1
last seem intent on living up to their name, taking only BA with a .307 total for the week - Morneau hit .538. Apart from that, 7-2 had no problems getting three HR and seven RBI out of Cabrera, while Martinez had a win and nine strikeouts for them. Wilson (7-2) was the only pitcher to record a save.

Adriano Rosario's 9, Shenanigans 2.0 1
An astonishing 65 strikeouts for Adriano, Hamels and Kazmir notching 16, while Verlander had two wins plus 15 K's. Only Howard's week allowed Shen to avoid a clean sweep: he had five of their seven homers. Hamilton drove in 11 for Adriano; a warm-up for his Home Run Derby exploits?

Crazy VIII's 3, Kapsaicin Kids 7
Billingsley had 21 strikeouts for Kids, and the victory he produced was also crucial, as it was their pitching which won this for them, despite four saves from Rodriguez for VIII. McCann homered three times for Kids, while Beltran drove in, appropriately, eight for VIII.

Arizona Muugens 4, Blonde Streaks 5
In contrast to last week, this was the only close game. HR were in short supply - only eight combined - and the resulting tie was enough for Blonde, who batted .313 on the week. Sabathia had two wins and 14 K's for them, while Webb [W + 12 K's] countered for Muugens.

Wimboes Barmy Army 6, SHUperMen 4
Wimboes did just enough for victory, taking RBI, SB, Sv and K by one; Lee drove in nine on their side, with Nolasco adding a win and thirteen strikeouts. Sheets fanned eleven for SHU, who also got two homers and six RBI from Kendrick. Street had a W and a Save for Wimboes.
