Week 8 Results
AZ SnakePit 2, Kapsaicin Kids 8
Kids pounded out ten homers on their way to an easy victory: Guillen scored and drove in five, and four players had multi-HR weeks for them. Pit got three SB from Phillips, but that and W were their only points. Meche posted 13 strikeouts for Kids.
Douchebaggery 5, Crazy VIII's 4
HR were tied at five, and that proved enough to give Douche the win in a close contest [VIII took BA by .010 and Douche won WHIP by .06]. Gonzalez had three HR and 10 RBI for VIII, but Upton gave Douche five runs and four SB's; Vazquez had a W and seven K.
dbacktom 9, Adriano Rosario's 1
tom clobbered Adriano, winning every category except K's, where Adriano got 11 from Hamels and 10 from Verlander. Otherwise, all tom: Saito got two wins, two saves, struck out eight and had a zero ERA, and Lester a W and 12 K's. Hitting was weak for both sides.
The Fighting Amish 1, 7-2 Offsuiters 9
Oh, how the Amish are fallen. They ran into a buzz-saw; normally a 2.97 ERA, .298 BA and 31 RBI would get you something, but Gregg (3 SV) was their only point. Bay (3 HR, 8 RBI) led 7-2's offense, Rowand drove in nine, while Lee (W + 8 K) was their staff ace.
Tucson Myth 6, SHUperMen 3
Myth used strong pitching to get past SHU, starters Weaver and Garza combining for two wins, 10 K's and no earned runs. Shu had identical (6 R, 4 HR, 7 RBI) weeks from Kouzmanoff and Hart, but Ordonez had 7 R, 3 HR and drove in nine, leading Myth to victory.
Shenanigans 2.0 5, Blonde Streaks 4
Shen swept hitting with four homers and nine RBI by Howard and three HR from Burrell. On the mound, however, it was a different story as Blonde roared back behind 13 K's from Sabathia and three SV by Valverde. They only had one win and a tie there let Shen escape.
last place 4, Wimboes Barmy Army 6
last started briskly, winning the first three categories, with 3 HR and 6 RBI from [insert dead horse pic here]. However, Wimboes swept pitching, getting five wins and posting a 2.54 ERA overall (Street had 2 Saves and 9 K's), as well as getting 12 RBI from Lee.
warlords 6, Arizona Muugens 4
A W and 13 K's from Owings paved the way for war's victory, though 10 K's from RJ gave Muugens that category. They also got three homers from Uggla, but war batted .306, for the week, with nine RBI from Molina and three crucial stolen-bases by Reyes.
GregSchulteOverdrive 4, Desert Storm BC 5
Hendrickson had 2 W and 14 K's for Greg, and ten runs from Matsui, but they went down in a tight contest, hitting collectively below the Uecker line, at .199. Storm got seven runs and eight RBI by Ramirez, 16 K's from Harang and hit .294 on the week.
Ignatius J. Rallies 6, Desert Dingleberries 4
Both teams hit well (.298/.302), but Desert were better, with Kinsler having three homers and eight RBI. However, Rallies were a force to be reckoned with on the mound, taking all five points there: Percival had a W and three saves; Arroyo a W and 12 K's.

Perhaps surprisingly, tom have benched six-game winner Padilla this week, but have another in Santana, Bradley anchors their offense.
