Week 2 Results
AZ SnakePit 6, dbacktom 4
The late run conceded by Corpas at Chase proved crucial here, giving ERA and victory to Snake. Some catagories were close, but Konerko's (Snake) 2 HR and 8 RBI were a big help, while Washburn had a 1.29 ERA. Loney homered twice for tom.
Douchebaggery 7, SHUperMen 1
Douche rolled to the win behind Vazquez's two W's and 17 K's; Hall also homered three times for them and Byrnes scored eight times. SHU's only win was in BA, with Ramirez [2 HR, 6 RBI, .393 BA] their best man.
The Fighting Amish 8, Blonde Streaks 2
Haren posted a W and 12 K's for Streaks, but Amish had a sub-two ERA and a 0.95 WHIP, with Linceum fanning 18. Peña homered four times for them, while he and Guerrero drove in eight. Hudson had 7 RBI for Streaks.
Tucson Myth 3, Wimboes Barmy Army 6
Neither team pitched well, managing one win between them, with both ERAs above five. However, Wimboes got three saves from Street and the sole win, by Mussina and rode it to victory. Glaus (Myth) led all players with six RBI.
7-2 Offsuiters 5, Arizona Muugens 4
7-2 piled on the homers, Berkman and Bay with three each, but it was the tie in Wins that gave them the edge. Lowe (7-2) and Webb (Muugens) had a W and 6 K's each. Sexson's six RBI won that categpry for Muugens.
Adriano Rosario's 4, Desert Storm BC 4
These two couldn't be split, R and K finishing level. Each won two hitting and two pitching points. For Storm, Pujols had three HR and seven RBI; Rodriguez fanned 13. Hamels won twice and Cueto had 14 K's for Adriano.
Crazy VIII's 6, Desert Dingleberries 4
Dingle hit well (.315) but were undone by bad pitching, with a team ERA of 6.70. VIII had banner weeks from Ibanez (7 R, 4 HR, 11 RBI) and Reynolds (7 R, 3 HR, 9 RBI), while Holliday drove in ten for Dingle.
Kapsaicin Kids 7, Ignatius J. Rallies 1
Neither pitching staff covered themselves in glory, but Kids came out ahead, Billingsley's 9 K's standing out. Francoeur (2 HR, 8 RBI) led their hitters, and Rallies were restricted to one point, their WHIP of 1.56 just good enough.
Shenanigans 2.0 7, GregSchulteOverdrive 2
Burrell (6 R, 3 HR, 7 RBI) was the powerhouse behind Shen's win, as they almost swept hitting, falling one homer short. Greg posted a decent ERA and took K's too, behind Cain's ten. Hoffman had two saves for Shen.
last place 3, warlords 6
last went down again, but made a better fight of it. war's pitching was, however, phenomenal with a team ERA of 1.79, behind Maddux (2 W, 7 K). Bannister had 2 W and 9 K for last, but Molina (2 HR, 7 RBI) helped war at the plate.

warlords vs. SHUperMen is the ESPN game of the week. war have started the season off very consistently, winning both their games while conceding three points per contest. SHU, on the other hand, won big in week one, before crashing back down to earth in the sophomore series. They have been hit by the loss Eric Bedard, now consigned to the DL, and will need a strong outing from their ace, Ben Sheets. Manny Ramirez, with 14 RBI, anchors war's offense, with Halladay topping their rotation.
