Should be an interesting game tonight. Zito has been pretty good of late: a 2.38 ERA in his past five starts, but is winless over that time. Doug Davis has been a bit wobbly, on the other hand, so we'll be hoping for a rebound, in the same way Micah Owings did last night. Yes, a complete-game shutout for Davis. We'll accept nothing less tonight, as the standard has been set. :-) As ever, attention will partly be elsewhere, with the Phillies and Padres also playing. There's a pitcher's duel under way in St. Louis, where they're scoreless in the sixth, while the Padres get under way 25 minutes after our game.
