As the top of our rotation has stepped up, picking up the W in the past three games, it's now time for the back-end to join in the party. Owings hasn't seen victory since June 20, though the club has won three of his last four starts, after he left the game. We face Bacsik, another leftie against whom nobody has any experience - going by yesterday, that might prove tough, and he has an ERA of 3.16 in five starts since the All-Star break. I'm not overly optimistic about this one going in, but we have the series in the bag, so that's a plus.
Going to be absent from the Gameday thread here, but that'll be because we're off down to Chase Field to watch the game - our second of this home-stand. We're taking the new digital camera with us, so looking forward to seeing what the results from it are like.
