AZ SnakePit 8, Baked 2 Snake turned in their best outing of the year, sweeping hitting behind Inge's 10 RBI, .429 week and Jeter's 11 runs. Cabrera had 3 HR for Baked. Pitching was more even, though no pitchers had more than one win or 7 K's. Gagne and Dotel had two saves each for Snake.

Crazy VIII's 7 BBTNG 2 VIII have alternated big wins and terrible losses for four weeks now, this time beating BBTNG with the bat, hitting .348: A-Rod was the best player anywhere (7 R, 4 HR, 16 RBI, .400), though Griffey hit 3 HR. BBTNG took SB, and 17 K's for Dice-K gave them that category too - they'll be hoping for good things from Clemens.
Bob Melvin Sucks 6 Webby17 2 In a low-scoring affair, Melvin's pitching proved the edge, Shields' notching two wins and 14 K's, helping them to an ERA below three. Figgins stole a monstrous seven bases for Webby, who also got a W and 17 K's from the Big Unit in a losing cause. Konerko (Melvin), Ortiz and Anderson (Webby) had two-homer weeks.
GregSchulteOverdrive 3, Kapsaicin Kids 7 After an even hitting session, Kids pulled away in pitching, with a miniscule 1.33 ERA and 1.01 WHIP: four arms had zero ERAs for them, including starters Sosa and Hernandez v1.0. Greg got a W and 9 K's from Carlos "Rocky" Zambrano, while Hunter and Delgado also had two homers each for them.
Desert Dingleberries 7, warlords 3 Desert batted .311, and got help from Wright's four homers, though war took RBI behind six each for Kotchman and Guerrero. Chupacabras 2, Shenanigans 8 "Stop! Hammer time", said Shen's manager after their win. An actual explanation will hopefully follow. :-) Not a great week for pitching, with Shen's 5.81 ERA good enough to win: Zito had a W and 7 K's for them, while De La Rosa fanned 11 for Chupa. Gonzo (Shena) was the only player on either side with more than one homer, and Cabrera (Chupa) drove in eight.
Douchebaggery 7, the don quixotes 2 Douche reached top spot with this win, and have their pitchers to thank, with a sub-one WHIP. Lowe had a W and 9 K's, while Hill (don) got a W and 11 K's. Fielder's four HR were more than Douche's entire team, but they edged home by two runs and one K to take overall victory comfortably.

Desert Dingleberries vs. Kapsaicin Kids is the ESPN game of the week, pitting two teams with identical records against each other. Kids are on a roll, not having lost since Week 5, but all those games were against lower-half teams, so Desert is the sternest test they've faced during the streak. Sosa has four wins in the past month for them, and Swisher has driven in 16 runs, with Taveras batting .344. Desert have ridden Willis and Penny (seven wins each) on the mound, but have a homer-heavy offense with double-figure threats in Pena, Wright and Sosa.
