AZ SnakePit 6, Tucson Myth 4 SnakePit pulled out their first win, pulling away on Sunday. Inge had 3 HR, and Berkman's 2 SB were also vital. Myth benefited from Santana's 11 K's, but Maine's poor performance condemned them to defeat.
dbacktom 8, BBTNG 1 tom swept pitching, posting a miniscule 1.24 ERA and 0.80 WHIP, Bonzer's win and 11 K's countering two wins for BBTNG's Matzusaka. 7 RBI for Glaus gave BBTNG their only point; Ordoñez scored eight runs for tom.
The Fighting Amish 2, Eric Byrnes Sucks 6 Byrnes homered their way to victory, four players having a multi-HR week. Amish batted .313 but lost out in the clutch, scoring only 16 runs. Byrd's 2 wins and Shields' 13 K's led Byrnes in pitching, though Amish took ERA with an overall figure of 2.82.
4 K's 4 Gonzo 7, Crazy VIII's 1 The wheels fell off for league leader VIII, who only managed to take SB's. They split R and Sv, but Gonzo blitzed them, with Oakland team-mates Haren (W + 14 K) and Johnson (7 R) outstanding. Verlander had two wins for VIII, but they hit only .209 as a team.
7-2 Offsuiters 4, Kapsaicin Kids 5 Ramirez had a 12-RBI week for 7-2, but anaemic, winless pitching let them down. Lincecum's 10 K's led Kids, and his zero ERA helped them to a team total of 2.87. Both teams stole six bases; Reyes had four for Kids, and that tie gave overall victory to them.
CoJack Forever 4, warlords 6 warlords took over as league leaders; despite batting .223 with 3 HR. They pipped CoJack by two runs, and that was the deciding score, as CoJack won every other hitting category, but warlords swept pitching. Schilling's win + 12 K's was their best performance; Rios scored seven runs for CoJack.
Baked 4, Shenanigans 4 These two sides could not be separated, with Sv and W ending even. Hawpe's 3 HR led Baked, but 7 RBI for Howard gave that to Shen. Their pitching was abysmal (9.17 ERA), but Jones' save was one more than Baked managed, and allowed Shen to escape with a somewhat lucky tie.
GregSchulteOverdrive 9, the don quixotes 1 Greg proved almost unstoppable, behind a 3 HR, 7 RBI week for Peralta. don held on to K's for their sole success, behind 14 from Hernandez, but two wins for Mitre and three saves by Soria meant Greg were almost unstoppable there too. Hunter (Greg) drove in seven.
Desert Dingleberries 3, Douchebaggery 7 Despite an amazing eight SB week for Ichiro, Douche had the edge in hitting, with Hardy hitting 3 HR and 7 RBI. Desert got 4 HR and 10 RBI from Wright, but struggled on the mound, though Willis led all pitchers with 11 K's. Morris had a win and ten K's for Douche.
Chupacabras 5, Webby17 4 A close contest went Chupa's way after saves was tied at one. Webby posted five wins (two each for Weaver and Johnson), but six RBI for Cabrera and Teahen proved crucial in helping Chupa to take hitting, and they batted .340 overall. Youkilis had 3 HR and 7 RBI for Webby.
