AZ SnakePit Fantasy Baseball: Week 13

AZ SnakePit 3, Random Fandom 6
Fandom pulled ahead on Sunday, all but sweeping pitching behind a 55 K week, though both teams had a sub-1.00 WHIP. Both also batted better than .310, but Mauer's .667 for the week helped Fandom. Ortiz had 4 homers for Snakepit.
Man of the Match: Lackey (Random) - 2 W, 14 K, 1.84 ERA, 0.75 WHIP

DFA'ders 5, BigLebowski 3
Wins and saves were both tied, but it was DFA's hitting dominance that decided this game, though this was a generally low-scoring affair, with only 39 runs scored total. Thome has 3 HR and 7 RBI for Big, while DFA's Zambrano had 14 K's
Man of the Match: Suzuki (DFA) - 6 R, 2 HR, 3 SB, .360

Uk Dbacks 4, ?Chalino Sanchez! 5
Chalino pipped UK, though neither pitching staff had weeks to write home about. Hitting was split down the middle (runs ended even), but Chalino's slightly better ERA (5.73 vs. 6.00) was enough to give them that category, and the match overall.
Man of the Match: Liriano (Chalino) - 2 W, 20 K, 1.20 ERA, 0.60 WHIP

JByrnesIsMyHomie 5, The Loose Seals 4
The TV game was an absolute thriller, decided by 0.01 in WHIP. Seals surged to an early lead in hitting behind A-Rod, but Byrnes fought back in pitching, thanks to Young's 13 K. Jenks' 3 saves and 0.67 WHIP were also crucial.
Man of the Match: Rodriguez (Seals) - 5 R, 4 HR, 12 RBI, .333

Browncoats 0, 7-2 Offsuiters 10
In a stunning turn, cellar-dwellers 7-2 blew Browncoats away, and dwell there no more. A .323 average and 2.43 ERA had spectators wondering "Where was this team in June?" Borowski's two saves for Brown made that the tightest category.
Man of the Match: Cabrera (7-2) - 6 R, 2 HR, 6 RBI, .300

GregSchulteOverdrive 3, BBTNG 7
Greg fell to their second successive defeat, BBTNG convincing winners. They swept hittng bar SB; on the other side, Greg took ERA and WHIP, but converted this into only two wins and no saves. Lidge's one gave the latter to BBTNG.
Man of the Match: Hunter (BBTNG) - 7 R, 2 HR, 7 RBI, .300

The Fighting Amish 7, KarateMonkeyDeathCar 3
Amish continued their good run moving into second with this victory. They swept hitting with 13 homers (Utley had three), and held on to fend off a pitching comeback from Karate, for whom Morris had two wins and 13 K's.
Man of the Match: Beltran (Amish) - 4 R, 4 HR, 5 RBI, .381
